Wheels and tires

GENERAL INFORMATION

For your safety and safety of other participants of movement it is necessary to adhere to below-mentioned rules strictly.

The type of the established tires corresponds to the running mechanism of the car. Before change of tires or disks with others it is necessary to address for consultation in a specialized workshop of Orel. Use of improper tires or disks can lead to failure.

To mount new tires in pairs, it is better a complete set. On one bridge to put tires:

– identical size;
– identical design;
– one manufacturer;
– identical profile

Condition of tires and disks


Arrival on sharp borders can lead to the hidden damages of tires and disks which prove only later, there is a danger of a rupture of tires.

Regularly check tires on absence of damages (the got stuck foreign matters, punctures, cuts, cracks, dents on lateral walls). The damaged tires can burst. Check integrity of disks. At detection of damages or unusual wear address in a specialized workshop of Orel.

Regularly supervise depth of a profile. If wear in front exceeds wear behind, trade places back and forward wheels. Wheels with the best profile should stand ahead.

For safety reasons at depth of a profile from 2 to 3 mm of the tire it is best of all to replace. Minimum admissible the profile (1,6 mm) is reached by rules, when the profile wears out to a certain index of a deterioration. Some indexes of a deterioration are from each other put on a profile of a running gear at identical distance. Their situation is shown also by marking on a lateral surface of tires.
