15.20. Repair of the main brake cylinder (model without ABS)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the main brake cylinder.

4–brackets of fastening of a popolnitelny tank;

Fixing of the primary piston
On the main brake cylinder of the GMF type fix the primary piston in the pressed condition a steel core in diameter of 3 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
2. Fix the main brake cylinder in a vice with soft sponges.
3. At existence unscrew valves of adjustment of pressure from the basis of the main brake cylinder.
4. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, remove from an end face of the main brake cylinder a sealing ring.
5. A wooden or plastic stick press the primary piston into the main brake cylinder and in this position of the piston insert a steel core in diameter of 3 mm through an opening of installation of a nutritious tank into the main brake cylinder (see fig. Fixing of the primary piston).
6. Take a lock ring from the channel of the main brake cylinder.
7. Take a steel core in diameter of 3 mm, fixing piston in the pressed situation.
8. Take the primary piston from the main brake cylinder for what overturn the main brake cylinder and knock with him about a board.
9. Submit to the main brake cylinder air under low pressure through an opening for installation of a nutritious tank and squeeze out the secondary piston from the main brake cylinder.
10. Clear all details of the main brake cylinder in pure brake liquid or methyl alcohol and check their condition. Check pistons and the cylinder channel on existence of scratches and dot corrosion. At wear of the cylinder replace the main brake cylinder in collecting (see fig. Main brake cylinder of the GMF type).
11. Grease the cylinder channel with a thin layer of pure brake liquid, then fix the cylinder in horizontal situation in a vice with soft sponges.
12. Using details of a repair kit, remove a stopper from the end of an auxiliary tube and insert a short part of a tube into the canal of the main brake cylinder.
13. Using a wooden or plastic stick, вытолкните a repair kit of details from a tube to the canal of the main brake cylinder. A stick press the primary piston and, using a steel midstream in diameter of 3 mm fix the piston in the pressed situation.
14. Establish a new lock ring to the cylinder canal. Check that the lock ring was accurately established in a flute of the cylinder and the piston freely moves in the cylinder.
15. Press the primary piston and take the steel core holding the piston in pressed situation.
16. Establish a new sealing ring on an end face of the main brake cylinder.
17. At existence screw in valves of adjustment of pressure.
18. Establish the main brake cylinder.

Vyvinchivaniye of the lock screw
After pressing of the secondary piston unscrew the lock screw on the main brake cylinder of ATE type.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
2. Fix the main brake cylinder in a vice with soft sponges.
3. At existence unscrew valves of adjustment of pressure from the basis of the main brake cylinder.
4. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, remove from an end face of the main brake cylinder a sealing ring.
5. A wooden stick press the primary piston and take a lock ring from the cylinder channel.
6. Take knot of the primary piston from the cylinder channel, thus note an arrangement of washers.
7. A wooden stick press the secondary piston and in this position of the piston unscrew the lock screw from the case of the main brake cylinder (see Vyvinchivaniye's fig. of the lock screw).
8. Take knot of the secondary piston from the channel of the main brake cylinder. If necessary overturn the main brake cylinder and knock with him about a board.
9. Clear all details of the main brake cylinder in pure brake liquid or methyl alcohol and check their condition. Check pistons and the cylinder channel on existence of scratches and dot corrosion. At wear of the cylinder replace the main brake cylinder assembled.
10. Grease the cylinder channel with a thin layer of pure brake liquid, then fix the cylinder in horizontal situation in a vice with soft sponges.
11. Establish a new sealing ring on the lock screw and screw in the lock screw in the case of the main brake cylinder so that he did not act in the cylinder channel.
12. Remove jams from end faces of an auxiliary tube with a repair kit of details of the main cylinder. Having pressed, move all details from a short part of a tube to the long.
13. Insert an auxiliary tube into the canal of the main brake cylinder so that the flange of a short tube was combined with an end face of the main brake cylinder. Using a wooden stick, вытолкните knot of the secondary piston to the cylinder canal.
14. Slightly screw in the lock screw, then take a wooden stick and an auxiliary tube and screw in the lock screw against the stop.
15. Fix the main brake cylinder in a vice with soft sponges in vertical situation.
16. Grease the primary piston and sealing flutes with the special greasing which is a part of a repair kit and establish on the piston a restrictive washer.
17. Arrange tubes so that the end face of a long part of a tube was combined with an internal fillet of a short part of a tube.
18. Establish on the primary piston consolidation so that working edges of consolidation were directed to a forward part of the main brake cylinder.
19. Using the auxiliary tube established in an end face of the channel of the cylinder, insert into the cylinder a sealing ring and the piston.
20. Establish an intermediate ring on the primary piston, then, using an auxiliary tube as an opravka, establish the remained consolidation.
21. Establish on the primary piston a restrictive washer, then, using a wooden stick, press the piston and establish a new lock ring to the cylinder canal. Check reliability of fastening of a lock ring in a cylinder flute.
22. Establish a new sealing ring at an end face of the main brake cylinder.
23. At existence screw in in the basis of the main brake cylinder valves of adjustment of pressure.
24. Establish the main brake cylinder.
