GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of a bolt of fastening of a back cross-section beam

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken bolts of fastening of a back wheel, then lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. Remove back wheels.
2. Remove back section of an exhaust system.
3. Disconnect a cable of the hand brake and returnable springs from control levers of the hand brake.
4. Remove a cable of the hand brake from arms on diagonal levers.
5. Remove brackets and take brake tubes from arms on diagonal levers. Keep in mind that on brackets wires of ABS sensors (see fig. are fixed. An arm arrangement with a brake tube and brackets with an ABS sensor wire on the diagonal lever on models with DOHC engines).
6. Unscrew bolts and remove supports and arms of ABS sensors from brake boards. Without disconnecting brake hoses, using a soft wire, tie up supports and ABS sensor arms to the car bottom.
7. Working in turn from two parties of the car, support a jack the diagonal lever, then unscrew a bolt, fixing the lower part of the shock-absorber to the diagonal lever. Being careful, lower a jack and take the lower part of the shock-absorber from the diagonal lever.
8. Disconnect submitting fuel hose from the fuel filter which is located on the right side on the car bottom before a fuel tank. Close openings in the filter and a hose suitable jams.
9. Support a jack a back cross-section beam and unscrew two bolts, fixing it.
10. Lower a jack so that it was possible to remove springs of a back suspension bracket and bufer of springs. Thus be careful not to deform hoses, tubes and wires.
11. Check that all hoses, tubes, a cable and electroconducting do not interfere with removal of knot of a back suspension bracket.
12. Supporting knot of a back suspension bracket a jack established under a back plate of a cross-piece, unscrew two bolts, fixing a forward cross-section beam.
13. Unscrew from two parties on two bolts which arms of a forward beam to the car bottom fix. Being careful, lower knot of a back suspension bracket and take it from under the car (see fig. An arrangement of elements of fastening of a forward cross-section beam of a back suspension bracket on models with DOHC engines).
14. If necessary, replace plugs of forward fastening of a forward cross-section beam of a back suspension bracket, using a bolt, a nut, big washers and a tubular opravka of the corresponding diameter. At installation of the plug moisten it with soap water.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish knot of a back suspension bracket under a back part of the car and lift it a jack established under a back plate of a cross-piece.
2. Screw in, but do not tighten an okonchatel but two bolts of fastening of a forward cross-section beam of a back suspension bracket. Thus bolts should pass through arms of fastening of a cross-section beam.
3. Screw in the bolts, fixing arms of a forward cross-section beam to the bottom of the car and tighten them the demanded moment. Tighten the demanded moment two earlier screwed in bolts of fastening of a forward cross-section beam of a back suspension bracket.
4. Lower a jack supporting a back plate of a cross-section beam and establish springs and bufer of springs between diagonal levers and the car bottom.
5. Being careful, lift a jack supporting a back cross-section beam, then screw in the bolts, fixing a beam to the bottom of the car and tighten them the demanded moment.
6. Connect submitting fuel hose to the fuel filter and fix it a collar.
7. Supporting diagonal levers a jack, as well as at removal, connect the lower part of the shock-absorber to the diagonal lever and fix a bolt, having tightened it the demanded moment. Establish brake tubes on arms on the bottom of the car and fix them brackets.
8. Establish supports and arms of ABS sensors on a brake board and fix bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
9. Establish brake tubes in arms on diagonal levers and fix them brackets.
10. Establish a cable of the hand brake in arms on diagonal levers and connect the ends of cables and returnable springs to control levers of the hand brake. Check adjustment of a cable of the hand brake.
11. Establish back section of an exhaust system.
12. Establish wheels and lower the car on the earth. Tighten bolts of fastening of wheels the demanded moment.
