4.25. Removal and engine installation

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a cowl.
2. Remove the accumulator.
3. Block back wheels, lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
4. If the engine understands, merge engine oil and remove the oil filter. Merge cooling liquid from cooling system.

5. Execute the following actions:

– disconnect an air branch pipe of a turbonagnetatel from a casing of the air filter;
– disconnect a hose of system of cooling from a broad tank, the block of cylinders and a radiator, then unscrew 2 nuts, fixing a hose to a head of the block of cylinders and take it from a motor compartment;
– remove a casing of the air filter and close an inlet opening of a turbonagnetatel;
– disconnect the pressurization heat exchanger from a hose of an inlet collector;
– disconnect arms from a back part of an inlet collector;
– remove the vacuum hose connecting the vacuum pump and the vacuum amplifier of brakes;
– unscrew bolts of fastening of the pump of the amplifier of a steering and move the pump aside, without disconnecting from it hoses;
– mark and disconnect electric sockets and wires from the sensor of pressure of oil (about the accumulator), the main plait of wires (about the vacuum amplifier of brakes), the generator and incandescence candles;
– disconnect submitting and returnable fuel hoses from the fuel pump and close them jams;
– disconnect an accelerator cable;
– weaken collars and disconnect two hoses of system of cooling from the accelerator of start of the cold engine on the fuel pump and two hoses from a thermostat casing;
– disconnect a reception exhaust pipe from a flange of a turbonagnetatel;
– weaken collars and disconnect hoses of supply of cooling liquid to a head and the block of cylinders of the engine.
6. Disconnect electric wires from a starter, sensors of level and oil temperature. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the tire of grounding from a transmission.
7. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the pump of the amplifier of a steering and move the pump aside, without disconnecting from it hoses.
8. Unscrew and remove a protective cover of a case of coupling.
9. Remove coupling.
10. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft. The pulley of a cranked shaft fastens one central bolt which the pulley of a gear belt also fixes. For prevention of a provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft it is necessary, that the assistant included any transfer and pressed a brake.
11. Access to a pulley of a cranked shaft is most convenient from under an arch of the right forward wheel after wheel removal.
12. Hook on captures load-lifting механиз ма for the power unit and lift until the weight of the power unit will not be perceived by the load-lifting mechanism.
13. From the top part of a motor compartment unscrew two of three top bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine.
14. Unscrew the right arm of fastening of the power unit from a body and the block of cylinders of the engine and take it from under the car.
15. Unscrew four bottom bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine.
16. Support a transmission a jack through wooden whetstone and unscrew the remained top bolt of fastening of a transmission.
17. Move the engine from a transmission and, being careful, take the engine up from a motor compartment.
18. After engine removal for support of a transmission establish a board between a case of coupling and the bottom frame and take a jack from under a transmission.

Installation


Prevention

At installation of the engine it is necessary to use new bolts of fastening of arms of the left and right support to a body.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using tap М10х1,25 clear a carving in fastening openings гидротран a sformator and prepare new bolts of fastening.
2. Support a transmission a jack through wooden whetstone and take a board which supported a transmission.
3. Using the load-lifting mechanism and being careful, lower the engine in a motor compartment.
4. Moving the engine to a transmission, connect them, thus the transmission should be established on directing pins in the block of cylinders. Screw in three top bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine.
5. Tighten nuts and bolts the demanded moment.
6. If coupling is screwed by bolts on a flywheel, be careful, that the transmission did not hang on entrance to a shaft.
7. Screw in four bottom bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine, but do not tighten them finally.
8. Establish the right arm of the power unit and bolts screw it on the block of cylinders, having tightened them the demanded moment.
9. If necessary move the power unit before combination of openings and, using new bolts, screw the right arm of fastening of the power unit on a body and tighten bolts of fastening the demanded moment.
10. Tighten bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine the demanded moment, then disconnect from the engine the load-lifting mechanism and take a jack from under a transmission.
11. Establish a protective cover on a coupling case.
12. Establish coupling.
13. Establish a reception exhaust pipe.
14. Establish a pulley of a cranked shaft in sequence, return to removal.
15. Lower the car on the earth.
16. In sequence, to return to removal establish all earlier removed wires, tubes and hoses.
17. At existence, establish the pump of the amplifier of a steering, adjust a tension of a driving belt of the pump and remove air from hydraulic system.
18. Establish the generator and adjust a tension of a driving belt.
19. Establish the case of the air filter.
20. Establish the new oil filter and fill in in the engine oil.
21. Fill in cooling liquid in cooling system.
22. Establish a cowl.
23. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
