Removal

Detachment of the electric socket from the fuel pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depending on model the fuel pump can be established on an arm under a back part of the car or on the right side of the car about a niche for a spare wheel or before a fuel tank.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. Prepare the corresponding capacity for collecting fuel after removal of the fuel pump.
4. Disconnect the electric socket from the fuel pump (see fig. A detachment of the electric socket from the fuel pump).
5. Using clips, press fuel hoses from two parties of the fuel pump for reduction of losses of fuel after a detachment of hoses.
6. Weaken collars and remove fuel hoses from the fuel pump.
7. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a clip and remove the fuel pump from an arm.

Installation

Installation of the fuel pump
At installation of the fuel pump the plug of a clip should rest against a flange on the pump case.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Installation of the pump make according to labels on the pump case. Insert the pump into the rubber plug of a clip against the stop it in a flange on the case (see fig. Installation of the fuel pump).
2. Start the engine and check fuel system on existence of leaks. In the presence of leakages of fuel immediately switch off the engine and eliminate the leak reason.
