7.22. Regulator of turns of idling

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

Adjustment of turns of idling on models with system of injection of Multec fuel is not provided, as turns of idling cope the ECU block.


Removal

THE SOHC MODELS (EXCEPT Multec)

Detachment of the electric socket from a regulator of turns of idling on the SOHC models except Multec

Removal of a regulator of turns of idling together with hoses on the SOHC models except Multec

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Disconnect the electric socket from a regulator of turns of idling (see fig. A detachment of the electric socket from a regulator of turns of idling on the SOHC models except Multec).
3. The regulator can be removed together with hoses or separately, leaving hoses on a place.
4. Weaken collars, then remove hoses from a regulator and take a regulator of turns of idling (see fig. Removal of a regulator of turns of idling together with hoses on the SOHC models except Multec).

DOHC MODELS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Weaken a collar and remove a hose located from the lower part of the air chamber on the case of a throttle.
3. Tighten the hand brake, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
4. Remove an engine mudguard.
5. Working under the car, disconnect the electric socket from a regulator of turns of idling which is located between an inlet collector and a starter (see fig. An arrangement of a regulator of turns of idling on the DOHC models).
6. Weaken a collar and remove from an inlet collector a hose of a regulator of turns of idling, then lower down and take a regulator together with hoses.
7. If necessary, mark and disconnect hoses from a regulator of turns of idling.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. On the DOHC models check, that the regulator of turns of idling settled down горизон talno, and electroconducting of a regulator settled down from above a hose I cool liquid Russian cabbage soup. If electroconducting settles down under a hose of cooling liquid, it can lead to regulator moving down and thus the air branch pipe going to an inlet collector can be deformed.
