8.2. System of fall of toxicity of exhaust gases

GENERAL INFORMATION

MULTEC system

The catching system паров fuels is intended for reduction of number of emissions in the atmosphere of nesozhzheny hydrocarbons.

The fuel system of the car is tight and pairs of fuel gather in the canister with the charcoal, located under the right forward wing. Pairs of fuel are stored in the canister and at start of the engine get to the highway of supply of air in the engine and дожигаются in engine cylinders. On models with C16 NZ, C16 NZ2 and C18 NZ engines the regulating valve opens at the expense of depression transferred by the vacuum tube connected to the case of a throttle. On models with the C16 engine the SZ valve opens electric signals from the valve of cleaning established on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

The system of fall of toxicity of exhaust Motronic gases is similar described in section 7 except that the coal filter copes the block of a control system of the engine via the valve of ventilation located in a fuel tank. At operation of the cold engine or the heated-up engine on idling turns for protection of the catalyst against the reenriched fuel mix the valve does not open until the engine will not start to work under loading. Thus on a winding of the valve tension and fuel pairs moves pass to the highway of supply of air in the engine.

On C20 engines the NE valve of ventilation is established over nozzles of cylinders 2 and 4. For removal of the valve remove a weight wire from the accumulator and the electric socket from the valve, then mark and disconnect two hoses of ventilation. Remove the valve from an arm or unscrew an arm and remove it together with the valve.

On C20 HE engines the valve of ventilation is located on the left side of the engine under a plait of wires of fuel nozzles (see drawing). Removal of the valve of ventilation is made in the same way, as well as for the NE C20 engine.
