8.3. System of repeated burning of exhaust gases (EGR)

GENERAL INFORMATION

At work of system of repeated burning of exhaust gases for reduction of emission of an oxide of nitrogen in the atmosphere together with exhaust gases the part of exhaust gases via the valve of system of repeated burning of exhaust gases arrives in an inlet collector and is repeatedly burned.

On models the volume of repeatedly burned exhaust gas copes with C16 NZ, C16 NZ2 and C18 NZ engines vacuum from an inlet collector via the EGR valve established on an inlet collector. When opening valve exhaust gases get to an inlet collector and further дожигаются in combustion chambers.

On models the ERG valve copes with X16 SZ engines the block located on the left side of a motor compartment behind the accumulator. The block on the basis of signals of the ECU block of engine management operates the valve of a retsirkulyatsiya of exhaust gases. Exact dispensing of exhaust gases depending on power setting is thus provided.
